This is a video from when I was ◯◯. 8 years since then・・・・ Car: Porsche 968 CS Tyres: Michelin Pilot Sport (radial) Temperature: over 35 degrees Full course (5.5KM). The 964 RS video is the short course Link to Paul Ricard short course, Porsche 964 RS, Porsche 964 Cup / During practice sessions shorts and a T-shirt are OK. For the race everyone transforms into FIA-spec kit. Back then I had a Porsche 968 CS, and this is from when I did the ordeal of driving it from Germany to Paul Ricard in the south of France and driving home again. 3 days and one night, 3000KM・・・ On the way back in the Champagne region I was doing 200KM when police bikes closed in front and behind and I got done; and at the event I took part in (CLUBEUROPA) the person travelling with me was mistaken for my partner - bitter memories. I hope it gets across at least something of the high potential of the Porsche 968 CS and how much fun drifting is. Paul Ricard is the closest circuit to Monaco, so it is used for F1 testing, and in the future it will surely become an F1 venue. It is up at altitude and the engine revs well there. It is also a circuit with an absurdly long straight (longer than Fuji Speedway), and because the course is almost all off-camber (that is, flat), you can drift as much as you like! The run-off is miles away so you basically never hit anything. And being the Bandol region, the food and wine are good. Scenes from the practice session at the official CLUBEUROPA event. Back then the drift god was with me, so I am better at putting on opposite lock than I am now. Since the big crash in '98 I have turned into a cautious drifter... In the end I spin, but it is a circuit where spinning is fine. Tomorrow I will put up the video of the race where I scrapped with a 964 RS over 3 laps. If someone asked me what the best circuit in the world is, I would probably answer Paul Ricard. For beauty Mugello is good too, but the circuit itself is interesting. / If they asked about mountain roads, it would be the Nürburgring, I suppose.

◯◯歳の時の動画です。あれから8年・・・・車両：ポルシェ968CS タイヤ：ミシュランパイロットスポーツ（ラジアル）気温：３５度以上フルコース（5.5KM） 964RSの動画はショートコースポールリカールショートコースポルシェ964RS,ポルシェ964CUPへリンク / 練習走行中は短パン・TシャツOKです。レース時にはFIA規格のスタイルに変身しています。当時はポルシェ968CSに乗っており、その車両でドイツから南仏ポールリカールまで自走し、自走して帰るという荒行をしたときの動画です。 1泊3日 3000KM走行・・・帰りにシャンパーニュ地方で、200KMで走行中前後に白バイが寄ってきてつかまったことと、参加したイベント（CLUBEUROPA）の方々に同行者を連れとして勘違いされた、という苦い思い出が。ポルシェ968CSのポテンシャルの高さとドリフトの楽しさがなんとなく伝わればと思います。ポールリカールはモナコから最も近いサーキットのため F1のテストでも使用されますし、将来的にはF1開催サーキットになるでしょう。高地にあり、エンジンはよく回るサーキットです。また直線が異常に長い（FISCO以上）サーキットでコースはほとんど逆バンク（つまりフラット）のためドリフトし放題！エスケープは遠いかなたにありまずぶつからない。しかもBANDOL地方のため飯とワインが旨い。 CLUBEUROPAの公式イベントの練習走行シーンです。当時はドリフト神が宿っていたので、今よりもカウンターの当て方が旨いですねえ。９８年に大クラッシュをしてからはドリフト慎重派に転向。。。結局最後はスピンしていますが、スピンしていいサーキットなので。明日には964RSとの競り合いを3周にわたり繰り広げたレースの動画をUPします。世界で最高のサーキットは？と聞かれたらポールリカールと答えそうです。綺麗さではムジェロもいいですが、サーキット自体が面白い。 / 峠道は？と聞かれたらニュルブルックリンクですかね。
