All this site has is numbers you can trust.

The only asset this site owns is numbers you can trust. So the rule is set first: no deal that would undermine them.

1. The days with no lap time are not deleted

List only the times and only the fast days survive. Then you can never separate track temperature from tyres from the driver. You need a denominator. A day cut short by rain, a session ended by a red flag — each stays as one line.

2. Paying does not change the order

No listing fees are taken from shops, circuits or tuners. Whether someone paid never changes a ranking, an average or a total.

The only money that may ever come in is a commission when a reader actually acts — a track day booking, a part, a set of tyres. Where that applies it is stated on the page itself.

3. What is not known is written as unknown

Most of this material is twenty years old. For many entries the date and the lap time were simply never written down. They are not filled in with something plausible. Unknown stays unknown. Filling the gaps would look better — and the moment that is done, none of the remaining numbers can be trusted either.

4. Corrections are recorded as corrections

Numbers are never quietly rewritten. When an error is found, what was changed, when, and why is recorded.

5. About third parties

Other people's cars and driving appear in some of the footage. Names of third parties and references to their families are all masked. Other people's lap times are not ranked without their consent. If something here concerns you, get in touch and it will be reviewed and taken down.

6. About comments

Comments are not live yet. The rules above apply from the day they are.
