The 997 GT3's high-speed and corner-exit acceleration is overwhelming. It feels as strong as or stronger than a 993 GT2, so it is predicted to have the edge at future track days.

Just plain fast The acceleration at high speed in particular, and the acceleration off slow corners, are superb! The final corner at the Nürburgring, like Fuji Speedway and Suzuka, is accelerating out of 2nd, so if there is a lucky person out there who can buy a 997 GT3, they will drop a 964 RS or a 993 GT2 the same way. The sense of acceleration seen from behind is equal to or better than a 993 GT2, I think, but perhaps because it is heavy? the corner speed is only so-so. But the corner speed at things like the 100R at Fuji Speedway (the old 100R?), the exit from it, and the exit of the final corner at Sportsland SUGO (depending on gearing) must be stunning. You do not see a 997 GT3 in Japan, but from next year I think the 997 GT3 will be overwhelmingly quick at track days. I also had a chance to drive the 997 Carrera S, and with a semi-slick on I think it could set times equal to a late-model 996 GT3.

997GT3の実力爆裂。 996GT3RS,996GT3後期も登場します。 / タイヤは同じミシュランパイロットスポーツカップ まだ◯◯才のポルシェ997GT3ドライバーは 現ポルシェAG◯◯さんとのこと。 とにかく速い 特に高速領域での加速並びに低速領域からの立ち上がりの 加速が素晴らしい！ ニュルの最終コーナーはFISCOや鈴鹿と同じように 2速からの加速のため、もしも 997GT3を購入できる幸せな方がいれば 同じように964RSや993GT2をちぎれるでしょう。 後ろから見る加速感は993GT2と同等かそれ以上 と思いますが、重量が重いのか?コーナー速度は それなりかと。 しかしFISCOの95R（旧100R?）などのコーナー速度と その立ち上がりやSUGO最終コーナーの立ち上がり（ギアレシオ次第ですが） は圧巻するものになるでしょう。 また997GT3を国内で見かけることはないですが 来年からは997GT3が走行会で圧倒的な速さをと 思います。 また同じく997カレラSは試乗する機会がありましたが、 Sタイヤをつけていれば996GT3後期型と 同等のタイムが出せると思います。
