Forgetting that it had no ABS meant full lock-up from the first lap, and the flat spots caused heavy vibration; it never went to a circuit again after that. Note: on the original text's “92 Renault Clio Williams”, the Clio Williams went on sale in 1993 (the point that it is based on the Clio 16V is itself correct).
